Director Shankar has all been hush-hush regarding his
upcoming magnum opus Ai, The ace director finally opened up on the film in a
recent interview, He said "Ai will be a romantic thriller and it will have
all things have people expect from a Shankar's film except social issues".
The director added that they have filmed the movie Ai in
unseen locations of China and the majority of sirst half would take place in
China. Shankar was all praise for Vikram saying "Vikram loves to dedicate
himself for the role, When i narrated the script he promised me to do anything
for the film and he literally proved his words, I never asked to lose weight
but he personally felt hat for a particular get-up he had to lose weight and
voluntarily did it for the character."
